12 Days of Homemade Holiday Gifts Day 5 – Handprint Wreath Apron

Holidays, Winter

This is another kid project, and since it involves paint, it’s a big hit with the kiddos.
I bought the apron at Hobby Lobby.
We used regular acrylic paint for the wreath handprints. As you can see, it doesn’t have to be perfect, but I did have to do a little guiding to make sure it ended up in a circle and not a collage mess. This project is probably best with age 2 and above. Depends on how cooperative your child is.
After it’s dry you can add in the bow, the name, or whatever. I painted the name, but that was before I knew about fabric markers. That would have been a lot easier!
Doesn’t my aunt look cute? A special gift for a special aunt.
Thanks for stopping by Day 5 of my 12 Days of Homemade Holiday Gifts series!
Day 1: Sugar Scrubs
Day 2: 5-Minute Fudge
Day 3: Felt Flower Wreaths
Day 4: Kid-Colored Photo Mat Frames

This is so cute, Debby! My grandma would love something like this. Your homemade gifts are creative and meaningful…love the kid-painted photo mats from yesterday too!
