30 Days of Fall Fun

Fall, Holidays

And just like that, it’s fall. Hooray!
I’ve been off the blogging grid for a while because of my husband’s medical issues, but he’s doing a lot better now and I’m excited to have more time, just in time for fall fun.
I realized I’ve been pinning more to to my fall board than actually doing so I created a bucket list to force motivate me to celebrate the season. The list is in no particular order, and it definitely won’t be a daily adventure, just some fun stuff to do between now and Thanksgiving.
1. Create a new fall wreath, using this one (Pinterest – no photo credit available) as inspiration. I already have some fall fabric and burlap.
2. Pumpkin Pancakes with Cinnamon Syrup from Tastes Better From Scratch.
3. Create a candle/box table centerpiece (Pinterest – no photo credit). I will probably end up just buying a box even though I’d like to make one. I found some flameless candles at Costco I will use for the inside.
4. Kid Craft: Jack-o-lantern cups with LED tealights from Housewife Notes.
5. Halloween Quesadilla from Monster Mama.
6. Sweet Potato Salad with Cranberries and Pecans from Homesick Texan.
7. Hot Cranberry Apple Cider from Paula Dean.
8. Visit a pumpkin patch.
9. Read some fall books with the boys. I like this one from Ideals Books: What Is Thanksgiving?
10. Take photos in a leaf pile.
11. Carve pumpkins, of course.
12. A drive to the mountains to see some pretty aspen fall leaves.
13. Halloween craft: Handprint Spiders in a DIY Lacing Card Web from Mom Endeavors.
14. No Bake Mini Pumpkin Cheesecake from Family Feast.
15. Update some table frames with some fall photos (new and old) of the boys.
16. Decorate the porch and mantle.
17. Pumpkin Waffles with Maple Whipped Cream from Picture-Perfect Meals.
18. Paint a chevron pumpkin. I tried last year and failed, but I think this tutorial from A Thoughtful Place will help.
19. Kid craft: Fall trees made with q-tips from La classe della maestra Valentina.
20. Add twine to mini white pumpkins. An easy way to add some flair to white pumpkins by David Mitchell Interior Design.
21. Pumpkin Cream Cheese Truffles by The Galley Gourmet.
22. Paint my nails a fall color.
23. Pumpkin Better Than Sex Cake by Healthy Cooking Recipes 101.
24. Melt-in-your-mouth Pumpkin Cookies by Parent Pretty.
25. Take a trip to Starbucks for a fall drink with the boys.
26. Cheddar and Hard Cider Fondue from Food Network.
27. Thanksgiving Craft: Fingerprint Turkey Card from The Charmed Mom.
28. Sweet Potato Apple Soup from Cupcakes and Crinoline.
29. Create a Thankful Tree using the tutorial from Rachel Cooke.
30. Try a new beef stew, Parker’s Beef Stew from Barefoot Contessa.
If you want a quick peak of all the photos, visit my 30 days of fall fun Pinterest board.
How will you be celebrating fall?

Yay–you're back!! I love enjoying all the fun activities fall offers! This is a great list. If you find a good box to buy for #3, let me know. My dining room table could use a centerpiece like that.
