Valentine’s Day Wreath

Decor, Holidays, Winter

My husband saw me yarn wrapping and said, “Starting a Valentine’s wreath? You don’t think we have enough going on?” Our master bedroom is in complete shambles during our “renovation,” but I knew it would be easy and I already had the stuff and a vision…
I just wrapped and wrapped and wrapped the yarn. It’s a good thing to do while watching mindless TV.
I cut some hearts from the leftover felt from the Valentine’s shoot. And used liquid stitch to attach them to the doilies.
Another leftover: heart confetti from the dollar store.
I used baker’s twine for the criss cross. The trick is the wrap around in one direction first, then come back around to make the cross.

I tied on the loop with about 4 strands of the twine and then added the bow around it at the end.
The wreath and my tree on the dining room table are the extent of my Valentine’s decorations this year. I had big plans, but ran out of time. (Please ignore the dust on the table – we haven’t eaten there in awhile)

I was going to make some felt heart ornaments, but I’m just as happy with these heart ornaments from Paper Source.
Two days marks Valentine’s day and a fun giveaway!

Adorable! I think I need to get some baker's twine…it has so many uses! I also loved your V-day cards in the last post. I used PSE for the first time a few weeks ago to make some cards and felt like I really accomplished something! 🙂 Good idea to download a template…I totally should have done that.
