We’ve been in Florida for my sister-in-law’s wedding, but I managed to sneak in a little Valentine’s Day shoot with the kiddos at Daytona Beach on Sunday.
Someone asked how I get decent kids pics…It’s no easy task, that’s for sure, and often I don’t get anything good.
I’m no pro, but just a couple things I try to do: High shutter speed because they move quickly, and I shoot for a short amount of time (10-15 minutes), but I take tons of photos. For this session, I took 248 photos and around 20 were usable, and really only 5 were frameable.
And, if all else fails, bribery with sweet treats always helps.
I always try to capture a few candids, too.
