I couldn’t resist a Valentine’s shoot. And I’m not sure how much longer my boys will let me dress them in cute clothes so I decided to go all out.
I cut some felt hearts (you can get a square for $.29) and used liquid stitch to attach them to jeans. So glad we had the red TOMS–Christmas gift from his aunt and uncle.
Then I sewed a heart tie to brother’s shirt. It was a little harder than I thought, but I was pretty pleased for my first one. And it was cheap, too. Less than $1 for the fabric.
I spent $8 at the dollar store on props and candy. They were unimpressed by some of my props.
They did have fun with the balloon, however.
It was a tad cold that day, but we made the best of it.
It wasn’t long before we said “goodbye” to the red balloon. We lost the pink balloon when we got out of the car.
And then I had to bring out the treats. I’ve conditioned them to know that photo shoot = some kind of treat.
I love catching Mr. Jolly. He will randomly get excited and start laughing. I played around with the editing on this one, and I like the left one better.
There must be some more hearts in there!
Anything goes during a photo shoot.
This pretty much sums up our adventures: one eating while the other is running around. But we had a great time.
And what will I do with these photos? That’s my next post…

Oh my goodness, how cute!! Love the little knee patches and sewn-on tie. Great location! Where is it?
