My cousin Carina is quite the wreath maker. I’ve featured some of her holiday wreaths and a tutorial in my 12 Days of Homemade Holiday Gifts series. I was pretty excited when I saw her wreath at Emma’s shower because I knew it would add some sunshine to her nursery.
These felt flower wreaths are perfect for shower and nursery decor. Carina would warn you that they do take time, however. I’m scared to know how many hours it took making all those flowers wrapped around the entire wreath. What’s nice about that, though, is that I can put it in front of a mirror as well.
For now I have it on the monitor shelf so Emma can see it from the crib.
In true #throwbackthursday fashion, I’ve included some pics from my shower along with the wreath. My sister Julissa, Carina, and friend Rachel put together such a special day for me.
It was a fall shower, hence the pumpkins. I used the “it’s a girl” sign in the nursery, too.
This was so special, and I have them all in Emma’s baby book now.
Look at that brunch spread! I would like some of that right now.
Tulips, roses and chevron: a few of my favorite things.
Can’t go wrong with a champagne juice bar!
A little “Price is Right”: my husband’s fave.
Emma wore this outfit a lot. I wish it came in my size.

My sister made these cute sugar scrubs. I put it by my kitchen sink so I can use it often.
The wreath’s new home.
