After completing Phase 2 of the nursery, I hit a wall when it came to walls and tabletop. I had waited years to design a girl nursery and then had no inspiration. Funny how that works.
When blocked, I always consider my go-to design options: things that are meaningful or functional. We all know girls have a lot of accessories that need to be organized, so I went with functional and decided to DIY (yes, I use “DIY” as a verb) a few headband and barrette holders.
I was especially excited when I came up with my own idea and figured out how to combine a headband holder with a shoe ledge (top)! And as my sister pointed out, it has pretty quick access to headbands. Win!
I also got another barrette holder (not pictured) as a gift, so I will be featuring all of them with tutorials. Stay tuned!
