As I mentioned in my last post, here is the first hair accessory holder tutorial!
I saw this idea on Pinterest, of course. I debated on the size of the oatmeal container and ended up going with the smaller size because that’s what was in my pantry. Turns out that’s the perfect size for newborn headbands so it worked out. The smaller one is great for 0-6 month headbands, and the bigger oatmeal container is good for 6 months+.
I mod podged some fabric over the lid and around it, but I could still see Mr. Quaker so I used liquid stitch to wrap some lace around it and that did the trick. Then I hot glued the ribbon around the top and bottom. It’s best to go easy on the hot glue when you’re working with ribbon. Just do 3-4 dots around it. Finally, I hot glued it to a candlestick I picked up from Hobby Lobby.
